Pictured above are the ERFD members placing the wreaths at the East Rockaway Fire Department Memorial on Sunday, October 1st.  Each year the department recognizes Captain Robert Pryor, the only member of the department to die in the line of duty.  In addition, this year Ex-Chief George L. Perry was honored, as he passed on September 11, 2017.  Present at the ceremony were two of his daughters.  Also pictured are Deputy Mayor Gaffney, Trustee Fox, Trustee Bilello, Assemblyman Curran, Supervisor Santino, Mayor Romano and the Ex-Chiefs of the ERFD.

"K-Kids" Clubs from Rhame Avenue and Centre Avenue Schools Converge on Memorial Park (with the help of the ER DPW) for the "Memorial Park Clean-Up" on Saturday, April 22, 2017.

VOER SURPLUS MILITARY VEHICLE

Hempstead Town Supervisor Anthony J. Santino and Councilman Anthony D'Esposito, helped the village obtain a militay surplus M90  2 1/2 ton all terrain, high-water vehicle.
According to Mayor Bruno Romano, this piece of equipment, obtained at no additional cost to taxpayers, will be used by Village Emergency Management.
