Garbage Collection Important Reminders:

• If a Holiday falls on a Monday, your garbage is picked up on Tuesday.
• If a Holiday falls on a Tuesday, your garbage is picked up on Wednesday.
• If a Holiday falls on a Thursday, garbage pickup for everyone will be on Friday (except the day after Thanksgiving – the entire village will have their garbage collected the Wednesday prior to Thanksgiving).
• For Bulk Pickup, if a Holiday falls on a Thursday, Bulk Pickup will be suspended until the following week except for metal.
• If a Holiday falls on your regular recycling day, recycling will be picked up the following week on your regular recycling day.

Yard Waste

Yard waste is collected by DPW every Wednesday, starting from the first Wednesday in April to the first Wednesday of January.
If a holiday falls on a Wednesday during this time, Yard Waste collection is suspended until the following Wednesday.

Special 2024 Collection Date

Friday, November 10, 2024 is a special collection date. DPW will conduct pickup instead on Tuesday, November 14, 2024.
