Deputy Mayor Bruno F. Romano was first elected as a Village Trustee in March of 2002. From March 2011 to March 2015, he served as Deputy Mayor under former Mayor Francis T. Lenahan, Jr. who often referred to him as his “strong right hand.” Serving along side former Mayor Lenahan, Bruno worked hard to reduce the size and cost of village government to make East Rockaway a model of what local government can do when it puts the interests of taxpayers first.
Bruno was elected Mayor of the Village of East Rockaway in March of 2015 and served two full terms serving the community.
